Wylde Olive was born out of motherhood, frustration, and a simple question:
Why does something so practical have to be so hard to find?

I’m an Australian mum living in Europe. When we moved here and welcomed our first baby, I quickly realised that something parents rely on back home was almost impossible to find — a well-designed zip romper.

In Australia, zip rompers are a staple. They’re the go-to for families because they simply make life easier. No endless snaps. No fumbling in the dark. Just a simple, two-way zip that makes middle-of-the-night nappy changes quicker and calmer for everyone.

When our baby was born in Europe, the hospital nurses had never even seen a zip romper before.

Fast forward ten years and three children later, and surprisingly, not much had changed. Zip rompers were still hard to find, and when I did find them, the quality often fell short — synthetic fabrics, poor construction, or designs that didn’t feel thoughtful or sustainable.

That’s when Wylde Olive began.
